In this third and final segment of our custom liner series, Jonas Seeberg, CPO/LPO, FAAOP, walks through the delivery of a newly fabricated custom gel liner. Our patient had been using multiple sock ply to compensate for residual limb volume loss, but with this custom liner, that extra socks are no longer necessary.

By increasing gel thickness in targeted areas, the custom liner adapts precisely to the patient’s anatomical changes— delivering a secure, comfortable fit within the existing prosthetic socket without needing a replacement. This video highlights the benefits of reducing sock use, improving prosthetic suspension, and restoring daily confidence in mobility.
