Step 1 getting trucha bug on IOS36

1: Run DOP-Mii. Press A to continue to the next screen. Go down once to select "Install IOS36 w/FakeSign". Press A to continue

2: The first thing to do is to downgrade IOS15. You will have to choose the location of your IOS now.

If you have WiFi, leave the option on "Download IOS from NUS" and press A.
If you have no WiFi, change it to "Load IOS wad from sd card" (i wont be providing the wad files just use NUS) (2 times right or left) and press A.

It will ask the same thing for IOS15 v257, so choose the same thing as you just did. Now let it install.

3. Once it finishes, it will ask to "Aply ES_Identify Patch to IOS36". Press A to accept it.
Then it'll ask if you want to enable NAND permissions as well. Press A to accept this too.

Now you'll have to choose the location of the IOS again. Choose the same option as you chose in step 2.
And yet again, it'll do its thing so just let it finish.

4. Resetting IOS15 is optional, but recommended.
Just choose one more time where to load the IOS from and press A.

It will tell you that everything is successful! Press A to return to the main menu.

Installing Patched IOS

1) Start DOP-Mii via Homebrew Channel and press A to continue.

2) Choose the first option (IOS: 36) by pressing A. You will see another menu, where you also have to choose the first option (IOS, BC, MIOS).

"Dop"-ing the IOS that your system menu uses will allow you to load custom channels that have been moved to the SD menu (on 4.0 system menus).
Use the left/right buttons on your wiimote to choose the IOS that corresponds to your current system menu version:
Version IOS

3.0 - 3.3
30 v1040

3.4 50 v4889

4.0 - 4.1 60 v6174

4.2 70 v6687


3) After selecting your IOS, press + to install it. Accept all patches press A on eveything.

IMPORTANT! If you had a previous installation of Preloader/Priiloader, you must immediately reinstall Preloader/Priiloader to avoid the garbled "System Files are Corrupt" brick!

You should now have a patched system menu IOS!

Load Priiloader via the Homebrew Channel. You will be
presented with the disclaimer. Press (+) on the Wiimote to
install Priiloader.

To validate that Priiloader has installed successfully, press and hold the Reset button on the Wii. Priiloader should load.

At this time, you can now enable some System Menu hacks. Always save your settings after enabling/disabling System Menu hacks.

PUT THE HACKS FILE ON THE ROOT OF YOUR SD CARD

Installing wads:

Computer Stuff: Download Wad Manager 1.7: http://filetrip.net/ajax.php?action=d... put the file in the apps folder of you sd card

Link: http://wehackwii.pbworks.com/ wii wads make a folder named WAD put ur wads there

Wii: go to wii load IOS36 and then click wii sd slot then click your wad and wait for it to load Ther you Have it 1 shiny new wii channel (i sugest that you move your wads to your sd card so you dont run out of space on your wii)

4.2 USERS ONLY: DELETING UNEEDED IOS (IDK WHY JUST DO IT)

ok this video is pretty helpful ok all you really need from this is mymenu my menuify and the folder with the .app file in it THE .APP FILE IS 4.2 ONLY ILL FIND A LINK TO THE 4.1/0 FILE AND 3.2 ANOTHER THING IS WHEN YOU INSTALL THE MYM FILE 4.2 USERS CAN USE 4.0 FILES AS LONG AS U HAVE THE RIGHT .APP FILE WHICH IS WITH THE VIDEO LINK I GAVE YOU

watch the video to do all of the computer stuff for the wii place the converted file ina folder or on the root it doesnt matter
