WHERE THE LAND MEETS THE SEA

Описание к видео WHERE THE LAND MEETS THE SEA

Lyrics originally written in 1999 that were finally put to music. As I continue to go through notes of the past I have found some very introspective lyrics.

WHERE THE LAND MEETS THE SEA

Took a stroll today - out where the land meets the sea
Thought I’d try to sort out - feelings inside of me
I can still see the waves - wash in and all around
I can still feel and hear - all of the sounds
The music plays on, where the land meets the sea

Was it yesterday’s music - playin’ sweet in my mind
I just can’t escape - if I want to I find
Breathin’ in this melody - that plays soft in my head
Beats rhythm in my ears - when I’m lyin’ in bed
The music plays on, where the land meets the sea

There’s an ache in my bones - that just won’t go away
Hard to put my finger on - it’s a bit tough to say
Time and distance though - seem too terribly long
Perhaps those are lyrics - of yet another song
The music plays on, where the land meets the sea

My concerns seem so small - at the edge of this expanse
Things will work out - when they’re given the chance
Am I feeling the void - ‘cause part of me is away
Am I out of step and time, it’s so hard to say
The music plays on, where the land meets the sea

As a wave washes up - disturbs another grain of sand
I turn back toward the world - with no answers, and
Hum an unfinished tune - I know it’s in me
Rise and fall with the tide - but it’s gonna be
The music plays on, where the land meets the sea
