Does Cranberry Juice help treat or prevent UTIs? In this episode I review the available clinical data that addresses this question. I'll reference some of the studies I reviewed below. Cranberry juice does contain compounds called proanthocyanidins that seem to block the ability of bacteria from attaching to the bladder cells (the first step in the infectious process).
