Patsy Cline's "You're Stronger Than Me" is a beautiful and moving song that is sure to touch the hearts of anyone who hears it, a classic that has stood the test of time, and among her insider fans' most beloved.

The song is a powerful and emotional story of a woman in love, her love being "stronger" to be without her. The lyrics are raw and honest, and resonate with her listeners' experience.

Cline's vocals are stunning. She has a powerful voice that is perfectly suited to the song. She delivers the lyrics with such emotion and conviction that it's hard not to be moved by her performance, because the arrangement is simple and effective; the accompaniment doesn't get in the way of the song, creating an intimacy between listener and singer where Cline's vocal just shines.

The song was recorded at Bradley Film and Music Studios in Nashville, Tennessee with Byron Bach on cello, Brenton Banks violin, Harold Bradley 6-string electric bass, Cecil Brower violin, Howard Carpenter viola, Patsy Cline of course on lead vocals, Floyd Cramer piano, Ray Edenton rhythm guitar, Buddy Harman drums, Walter Haynes pedal steel guitar, Randy Hughes acoustic guitar, Lillian Hunt violin, The Jordanaires on background vocals, Grady Martin electric guitar, Bob Moore acoustic bass, Bill Pursell organ, Verne Richardson violin, Ed Tarpley viola, and Joe Zinkan on acoustic bass.

So Wrong/You're Stronger Than Me was released as an EP on September 24, 1962. It was the third and final EP Cline would release that year. It was Patsy Cline's last EP collection that would be released in her lifetime, as she would be killed in a plane crash less than a year later in March 1963. Because the single was not released on any album, this EP served as the source of obtaining the single and its B-side.

Although not released as a single, "You're Stronger Than Me" was also covered by George Strait on his 2000 album titled George Strait.

Here, Patsy's August 7, 1962 Pet Milk TV Grand Ole Opry (number 203) television broadcast, on WSMV-TV, on 5700 Knob Rd, in Nashville TN is remastered with the above studio session in HD color reproduction by DocRock1007.
