The Trump campaign says Iran is behind the recent hack that led to sensitive internal documents being stolen and distributed. The FBI says it is investigating but gave no further details. The Trump campaign told the BBC the documents were illegally obtained by foreign adversaries and specifically mentioned Iran. Research Analyst at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, Janatan Sayeh, joins to share what his sense is of the whole thing and whether he thinks Iran is indeed behind these activities. According to the US State Department, attempts by the Iranian regime to interfere with US elections are nothing new. However, Iran's mission to the UN has said their government "neither possesses nor harbors any intent or motive to interfere in the US presidential election." However, we know that Iran has threatened to hit back at Trump for the drone strike. Sayeh tells us his thoughts. Sayeh discusses whether he thinks we can expect to see more cyber attacks from Iran and how concerned we should be.
