Why It’s Better Commanders Move On From Eugene Shen Than To Never Have Had Him At All

The Commanders hired analytics guru Eugene Shen last fall, and he helped them shape the trades for Montez Sweat and Chase Young. Now that Adam Peters is in place, he’s hired his own analytics guru in the form of Ben Sosna. That’s a good thing though! Shen was critical in making a key decision early in Josh Harris’s tenure, and that alone made him worth the hire.
