Like Super Mario Kart, there is a massive community that also makes ROM hacks for Mario Kart 64. The first one I found interesting is Mario Kart 64 Randomizer which randomly selects the courses for you. This hack stood out to me because of all the custom courses it introduces as well as new items. The randomizer also included the OG courses as well. These videos will only be showing the custom courses. There are a total of 45 courses to be discovered in this mod. I managed to find 42.

Disclaimer: This mod has some issues with its audio. The engine sound will sometimes play and not play when it's supposed to and the game music will not work sometimes. Some custom courses do not seem to be complete as well. I think this might be due to the possibility that I am using an outdated version of this mod but I'm not sure of it.
