About Shenandoah Vineyards:
Currently the second oldest winery in Virginia, Shenandoah Vineyards has a storied past dating to its founding in 1976 by trailblazers Emma and Jim Randel, who also obtained the first AVA designation in the state. Purchased by Michael Shaps when Emma retired in 2018, the vineyard spans 28 acres, with 15 acres under vine. Plantings include Lemberger, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Riesling and Pinot Gris.
The tasting room is a 1790’s barn and visitors have a stunning view of Edinburg Gap, making it a perfect spot to relax and soak in the natural beauty of the Shenandoah Valley.

With some of the oldest Riesling vines in the region and the newer Lemberger, Shenandoah offers a diverse tasting experience.
