This strategy is currently one of the most dominant "skill-based" ground attacks at Town Hall 15. While standard Root Rider spam is easy, the RC (Royal Champion) Invisibility Charge variant allows you to surgically remove the base's most dangerous threats—like the Monolith, Eagle Artillery, or Town Hall—before your main army even touches the field.
📋 Army Composition (TH15 Meta)
This setup prioritizes the RC Charge while providing enough "meat" for the Root Rider push.
Troops: 8x Root Riders, 8x Valkyries, 1x Apprentice Warden, 1x Ice Golem, 2-3x Headhunters (for enemy heroes).
Spells: 9-11x Invisibility Spells (Mass Invis variant), 1x Poison (for CC/Heroes).
Alternative: 6x Invis, 2x Overgrowth, 1x Rage.
Siege Machine: Siege Barracks (placed on a corner for funneling) or Flame Flinger.
Clan Castle: 2x Root Riders + 1x Valkyrie OR Super Balloons.
⚔️ Step-by-Step Attack Strategy
1. The RC Invisibility Charge (The Opener)
The goal is to take out at least two "High Value Targets" (HVT).
Placement: Drop an Ice Golem or Giant to tank the first few hits, then deploy the Royal Champion.
The Invisibility Loop: Drop your first Invisibility spell before the RC takes significant damage.
Timing: Count 4 hits from the RC (roughly 4 seconds) before dropping the next Invis. Ensure you only turn the RC invisible, not the building she is attacking.
Value: Focus on the Monolith and the Town Hall. If she can clear the TH and one other major defense, the base is effectively broken.
2. The L-Shape Funnel
While the RC is charging, use your Barbarian King and Siege Barracks on an adjacent corner. This forces the remaining base into an "L-shape" or a narrow corridor, which prevents your Root Riders from spreading out and dying to split fire.
3. The Main Smash
Once the funnel is set and the RC has exhausted her spells:
Deploy Root Riders in a line.
Follow immediately with Valkyries, Archer Queen, and the Grand Warden.
The Root Riders will open all walls, allowing the Valkyries to shred high-HP buildings under the Warden’s aura.
4. The Warden Ability
Wait until your army reaches the highest DPS zone (usually where the Eagle Artillery shots or Multi-Infernos are). Activate the Eternal Tome to keep the Valkyries alive while they clear the core.

💡 Pro Tips for 3-Stars
Don't "Double Invis": Dropping a second Invisibility spell before the first one wears off is the #1 reason for a failed charge. Watch the timer ring around the RC.
The "Pocket Invis": Always save one Invisibility spell for the end of the attack. It can save your Queen or RC near the last defense to prevent a 99% 2-star.
Spell Towers: If the base has Invisibility Spell Towers, try to trigger them with a single Balloon or your RC Charge before sending in the main army, or use an Overgrowth Spell to freeze them.
