Join Kate Toniolo, Superintendent of the Pacific Remote Islands Marine National Monument, as she relates this incredible success story of eradicating the yellow crazy ant from Johnston Atoll NWR. It wasn’t easy. It took ten years and 130,000 hours, but the refuge is once again a safe haven for the tens of thousands of seabirds that call this remote island home.
