The Historic Select models are virtually identical to the True Historic line of instruments, with one exception: there is no historic serial number. The Wildwood Staff saw this as an advantage when crafting these Historic Select instruments, which allowed us to pair our signature Wildwood Spec Humbucker Pickups with the True Historic spec instruments, creating an ultra accurate representation of some of our favorite vintage bursts. Hot hide glue construction, choice tone woods, and Wildwood Spec pickups create an instrument that instantly feels like home and gets players insanely close to the real thing. Touch sensitivity, resonance, voice and expressiveness are king when it comes to the Wildwood Spec Made 2 Measure Historic Select instruments.
