Homemade is Always Better| Country Roast and Veggies

Pat your Chuck Roast dry with Napkins

Rub Olive Oil all Over Your Roast, Every side

Put little oil in your Dutch Oven for the Searing Process

Rub garlic powder into your roast (If you have fresh minced garlic use that)

Rub in crushed red pepper flakes on one side only

Rub in Kinders Buttery Steak House seasoning

Rub in Italian seasoning by McCormick

Rub in Onion Powder seasoning

Rub in Organic Spanish Sweet Paprika

Using a long toothpick, poke holes all in your roast 360 degrees

Now pour Worcestershire sauce all over, allowing it to penetrate into roast

Now comes the searing. You want to make a nice seared crust all the way around your roast.

Sear each side for 3 to 4 minutes, even ends

Take 2 Beef Bouillon cubes and add 3 cups of Hot Water to make a nice broth. Pour over the roast in the crock pot

Add 1 Lg cubed onion around the roast

Add a bag of baby carrots. Place some of the carrots and onion under the roast to raise it up some

Add one stick of butter cut up into the crevices stuffed into the roast and place on top as well

You will cook this on low for about 12 hrs in the crockpot
