Today, in our sports encyclopedia series we will talk about Ball Hockey.
Ball Hockey is a modified version of Floor Hockey and Ice Hockey.
The objective of Ball Hockey is to score more goals than the opposing team.
Ball Hockey shares the same rules as ice hockey except for few changes.
The game shares a lot of similarities with ice hockey except that it is played on foot and on a non-ice surface.
Ball Hockey is played between two teams of 6 players each with a ball hockey instead of a hockey puck.
Both teams have 5 runners and 1 goaltender.
Ball hockey is played in a rink of the same size as ice hockey.
The goal is scored when one team player manages to hit the ball inside the opposing team’s net.
At the end of the match, the team with the most scores wins.
