WHAT TOOK ME SO LONG?!

This cover has been a looooooooooong time coming. To be honest, I've been afraid to do this cover in particular. Two words: Robin Williams. The footprint of the genie he left was indelible and intimidating. I put off this cover for the longest time because of this fact. A couple of months ago, I was talking with my good friend Neill (DJ Michaud) and he had this great vision for a hard rock/metal version of "Friend Like Me". He played me a little bit of a draft, and I fell in love with it. I commissioned him to create a full version for me, and I instantly felt more comfortable with the piece. This was MY genie; still silly, aloof, all over the place, but with a thrashier edge \m/ I hope y'all enjoy this track as much as I enjoyed making it :) I am super proud of this one.
