The Munsell system of color identification has nothing to do with color analysis, however. Just as Pantone is the world leader in designating numbers (and sometimes names) to millions of colors, but they cannot help you with color analysis; the same is true with any other system for identifying colors.

Lastly, neither Munsell or any other system that classifies colors has taken the time to designate specific colors as warm or cool. An image and color consultant needs to know if that "cobalt" blue is warm or cool, or if that bright red is warm or cool, for example.
