Masterclass - Professor Arminio Fraga, former president of The Central Bank of Brazil

The seminar “Young Scientists and the Future of Science in the G20,” organized by the Instituto Coalizão Saúde (Health Coalition Institute) and the ANM, was held in a hybrid format as part of the G20 program, with the aim of giving a voice to the new generation of scientists and fostering discussions and strategies to solve relevant societal problems.
The meeting brought together young physicians and scientists and renowned professors, both Brazilian and international – among them Nobel Prize winner in Medicine and Physiology (1993) Richard Roberts and Professor Arminio Fraga, former President of the Central Bank of Brazil.
The National Academy of Medicine (ANM), located in Rio de Janeiro, hosted the world of science from Brazil and abroad on 3 July 2024 for a meeting about science and the future.
