Hello! I have been playing guitar for about 45 years, and I am probably what you can call a passionate-sound-and-tweaking-neard. For the last 9-10 years I have been using Roland GR-55 Guitar Synthesizer, and I have been learning a lot by passionately tweaking and experiencing in the GR-55 synthesizers, MOD-guitars and efx,s for thousands of hours.
This is my first demo-video VOL-1; about 10 minutes where I demonstrate 10 sounds that I have tweaked and saved into patches, and this video shows just how easy you can create an ambient soundscape - using these sond patches, playing very relaxed.
As you can see - all the demo,s are just one-takes. NO BACKTRACKS!
I really hope you like it, and that you may share it with other enthusiasts. I personally think that Roland GR-55 is a great - but UNDER-ESTIMATED unit, especially for ambient and chill music etc. A lot more guitar-players should have one, at least for music and settings where they just cant be without it.
If you like what you hear - and you want to experience and enjoy this yourself on your GR-55; PLEASE send me a mail if you want to buy these 10 sound patches for downloading on your computer/GR-55!
After receiving payment from you on PayPal I will send you the file complete with all the instructions you need to download it to your computer/GR-55.
The price is only 30EURO,s or 30$ for VOL-1. (Within Norway 350,-NOK possible by Vipps.)
Enjoy using them to add a whole new dimension to your sound!
Hope you will find this a reasonable offer, and by purchasing this package you will also be helping me to continue doing my "thing" - coming up with new VOLUME,s.

PS: I am not affiliated in any way to either Roland, Boss or other companies. I am just a true passionate GR-55 user/fan.
Since early -80/-90,s I kind of turned into searching for the ultimate undefined ambient sounds and expressions - blended with a lots of reverb and delays - sounds that could take me as a musician; and also the listeners; on to an ambient journey to dream-land.
I have spent thousands of hours tweaking and experimenting, learning and enjoying all the time; using Roland and Boss. First I started with GR-300 and GR-700. In -89 came the GR-50; for me a new era within guitar-synthesizing.
I got my GR-55 about 2012. Since then I have tweaked even more, and enjoyed this never-ending journey among great sounds and possibilities. In the beginning I found most of the presets "not very interesting nor useful" - but I also quickly understood that this was my new favorite "playground" - with a huuuuge potencial!
Not only does it have lots of the possibilities and efx,s - but on the top - and NOT least - it has two synthesizers. I think the GR-55 is an amazing guitar unit with limit-less possibilities, especially for music and soundscapes within #ambientmusic, #filmmusiccomposer, #soundscape, #mindfulmusic, #loungemusic, #relaxingmusic, #synthesizermusic, #chillmusic, #GR55SystemSettings etc.
Please take the time to check it out! And I appreciate feedback, sharing and submitting.
PS:
STEREO: These patches really sound huge and amazing, and they bring both the players AND listeners on a dreamy journey. BUT I really recommend listening/using it connected into stereo - as the stereo effects gives much more the feeling of both hugeness and weightless at the same time.
NOT for STRUMMING: I also want to add that the patches are NOT fit for rythmic strumming guitar - but they DO sound amazing as you soon will find YOUR way of picking and playing each note and chord; getting inspired as the sound and efx,s will do the work for you - expressing and creating just the soundscapes you want.
HANDY GR-55 TIPS:
(For free photos - please write me a mail!)
Some global/system tips for your GR-55, for much more easy edit some main settings "on the fly".
(Just temporary for the current patch - no matter how these settings are saved into the patches.)
How to easy change your Patch Tempo very easy; by tapping the GK-s1 switch.
(Edit - System - Pedal/GK ctl - GK-s1 = Tap Tempo)
I also prefér to use the GK-s2 as a switch for both PCM synths on/off. (2xphotos)
(Edit - System - Pedal/GK ctl = 2xPhotos.)
How to use the GK-Vol knob as a Volume controller ONLY for the both PCM Synths. (3. photo!)
(Edit - System - Pedal/GK ctl - VOL = 3.Photo)
I also use the Ctrl -Pedal as a Delay switch on/off.
(Edit - System - Pedal/GK ctl - CTL = Delay sw)
The Exp Pedal I set to OFF, (or Patch setting???). From here I can assign it as I choose/wish to different functions in different patches.
(F.ex. Master Volume - Amp Gain - Reverb Time - Reverb Level - MOD Volume - Delay Feedback/ Level etc.)
