Godmothered is a heartwarming fantasy comedy that flips the traditional fairy-tale formula. The story follows Eleanor, a young and overly optimistic fairy godmother-in-training who discovers that fairy godmothers are becoming obsolete because people no longer believe in “happily ever after.”

Determined to prove that magic still matters, Eleanor travels to the real world to help a young girl named Mackenzie whose distress letter was ignored for years. But Eleanor is shocked to learn that Mackenzie is now an adult single mother who has long stopped believing in fairy tales, romance, or magic.

As Eleanor clumsily tries to create a fairy-tale ending in a very real and complicated world, both women learn important lessons about self-worth, modern love, family, and redefining happiness.
