'Nimrod' from Elgar's "Enigma Variations" has become one of his most beloved pieces of music. It is frequently played at state or solemn occasions and has also become an encore in its own right, having been taken up by many orchestras all around the world. Here is one of them. It was the encore to a heartfelt performance of Elgar's 1st Symphony, played in 2017 by the South-Korean Symphony Orchestra under its music director, Chiyong Chung.
