Welcome to Episode 3 of my motorcycle adventure on the BMW R1200GS through the breathtaking mountains of Northern Pakistan

In this episode, we leave Bilamik Valley and ride towards Skardu, one of the most scenic and historic destinations in Pakistan. The route is filled with mesmerizing mountain views, winding roads, and natural beauty that keeps getting better with every kilometer.

On our way, we’ll explore:
Upper Kachura Lake – known for its crystal-clear blue water and serene surroundings.
Lower Kachura Lake (Shangrila Lake) – a world-famous tourist spot with picture-perfect reflections and peace all around.
The local culture of Skardu, where we’ll discover traditional Balti clothes, handmade gems, and the warm hospitality of the locals.

The scenery on this stretch is absolutely magical, towering peaks, flowing rivers, and calm lakes all around. By the time we reach Skardu, you’ll understand why this place is called “Heaven on Earth.”
