Gingerbread Syrup

½ cup brown sugar

½ cup white sugar

2 tbsp molasses

1 tsp Gathering Place Organic Gingerbread Spice

1 cup water

Pinch of vanilla beans (or ½ tsp extract)

Pinch of salt

Method: Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer and cook for 7 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and salt. Let cool completely, then bottle and refrigerate.

Gingerbread Cocktail

30 ml vodka

50 ml Baileys

25 ml gingerbread syrup

50 ml half & half (or milk/cream alternative)

Full glass of ice

Garnish (go wild!):
Whipped cream, gingerbread crumbs, caramel sauce, Biscoff cookie, or a nice Gingerbread & Caramel Cookies - you can find in my feed. 

Method: Shake all liquid ingredients with ice. Strain into a glass. Top with your chosen garnishes.
