Brother Branham ordained him as deacon in 1958, where he faithfully served at the Branham Tabernacle until the Lord took the prophet home.

“By the grace of God, it has been said to me, and a one hundred percent vote through the board of this church, that they have found that Brother Hollin Hickerson to be a just, honorable man, and in line in this position to receive the--the great honor of being deacon of this said Tabernacle”

Brother Hickerson’s service to the Bride didn’t end there. He stood strong for decades, encouraging believers to stay with every Word the prophet spoke:
"Take that prophet at his Word and hang your soul on it, because it’ll be here when everything else is gone. ‘Heaven and earth will pass away, but My Word will remain.’ And I believe that if we are part of that Word, then we will remain".
