Day 1 in Ho Chi Minh
Day 1 was all about grasping the essence of Ho Chi Minh.
I woke up late morning and headed out in the city.
Exploring the streets, grabbing some food, and checking out the nightlife.

Hotel - I have stayed in 3 different hotels over a period of 3 days
1)la vela Saigon- has the best pool view.
2)Meander Saigon
3)Rosa Hotel and Spa (budget- ideal for the days you won't be in Ho Chi Minh )
Places to eat-
If you want to order in - use Grab .
If you want to step out to eat, here are my recommendations
1) Circle K- if you don’t know where to go , just head to Circle K, get some sandwiches or hot noodles with some Ice Coffee.
2)Osman restaurant - Nasi goreng in veg , egg, or chicken.
Veggie Saigon
3)Dahi Handi Indian restaurant
4)Street food- clams , sweet rice and sweet potato, durian ( worlds smelliest fruit) , fruits like leeches and mangosteen.
5)Kebaby for some good Kebabs.

District 1- district 1 is where all the action is.
Walk around the city on these streets.
1)Malaysian street
2)Ben Than Market
3)Bui Vien Street
4)Nguyen Hue Walking Street
Tran Nhan Ton Street

Night Life
Ho Chi Minh has a pretty vibrant nightlife. The city comes to life in the evenings.
Here are 2 of my recommendations
Bui Vien Street ( for Nightclubs, eateries and bustling nightlife)
Nguyen Hue Walking Street ( For chilling, walking and checking out the local scene)
