Commercial Structure Fire on Terminal Avenue in Clark

CLARK, NJ - On a Thursday morning at approximately 7:30 a.m., a 3-alarm fire erupted at The Kerry Ingredients Company located at 220 Terminal Avenue. Firefighters from Clark and at least six neighboring towns quickly responded to the blaze to extinguish the fire.

The fire originated in a scrubber area filled with plastics and was successfully contained to that area. Union County HazMat was also called to the scene to test for any hazardous materials.

No serious injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
