This video is to generally show the sound characteristics of the Lyon and Healy made Lakeside Parlor guitar. The guitar is on eBay right now and scheduled to close on Sunday 2/28/2010. I am not trying to win any contests, and this is just me plunking around with an open D tuning. There are some snippets of what I recall of "In My Time of Dying" made popular by Led Zeppelin. My favorite version of this is Bob Dylan's, but this is in no way an attempt to sound like either. The recording is made with a Canon digital camera, using the microphone built into the camera... nothing fancy. The strings are really old and dead, but hopefully you can get a rough idea of the general tone of the instrument. I will remove this posting shortly after the auction closes.
