Going the Extra Mile expresses the essence of UD Trucks.

While countless companies claim to “Go the Extra Mile”, we have been putting those words into practice since our foundation. Proof points? Legendary 3000km test drive in 1939. World's first urea SCR system together with the launch of Quon in 2004. The list goes on and on.

Going the Extra Mile means that UD products go the extra distance by excelling in fuel efficiency and uptime. People at UD make that extra effort to ensure our customers’ success. This film showcases how actual UD colleagues, no matter their background or job description, work tirelessly to keep society moving, contributing to a better life. It is who we are, and part of our DNA that has been passed down for generations.

Creation of this film was made possible through cross-company collaboration as One UD from the factory floor to the top management. Filming took place not only in our global headquarters in Japan, but also in Thailand and South Africa to capture our global nature as well as Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I).
