Champagne is definitely the most celebrated sparkling wine in the world. It is produced by Methode Champenoise, also known as the Traditional Method. It means that the wine has undergone a second fermentation process in the very same bottle we buy at the store and pop open later. In this video I will explain step-by-step, how Champagne is made, and you will learn what such terms as vin clair, lees ageing, remuage (or ridding) and many others mean.
