Best Place to Stay & Eat Near Cherohala Skyway. I don't always showcase the places I stay or eat at while on a long trip but that's gonna change. The Cherohala Mountain Trails Campground is a great place to stay while riding in the area. The owners Wayne & Kelly are great folks and always try to accomadate everyone. They have a store onsite and provide free coffee and pastries. Breakfast is available for purchase as well. This campsite is well maintained and one of the best I've every stayed at and I'm an avid camper. Wayne recommend a great Italian place in Sweet Water, TN called Vittorinos in Sweetwater, TN just west of Tellico Plains. You'll ride through Sweet Water on your way to the campsite so very convenient. I highly recomment these places if you are planning a trip to ride the Cherohala Skyway, Tail of the Dragon, or North GA Mountains. #harleydavidson #eatlocal #cherohalaskyway #tennessee
