Over my nearly 10 years being a Content Creator here on YouTube I have learned a whole lot of lessons about what to do, and what NOT to do, most of it the hard way. In that time one of the biggest challenges I have noticed for many creators is, they really don't know where to get GOOD information about what does, and doesn't work on YouTube. So with this series, I'm going to do my best to share that knowledge.

With this very first episode we're going all the way down the most basic step, WHAT is YOUR YouTube channel about? Whether you are making a new YouTube Channel, you are a small YouTube channel looking to expand, or just here to learn some stuff, this is the first most basic question to ask. And you better have an answer for it, because if YOU can't answer this, how in the world will the YouTube Algorithm know what you are about?
