God of War - Worthy Trophy Guide (All Axe Upgrades) - Fully upgrade the Leviathan Axe [Bronze]

To fully upgrade the Axe you need Frozen Flames, a type of crafting component. Level 6 is the maximum for the axe.
The first upgrade is given automatically when you meet Brok for the first time. After that you keep getting Frozen Flames from Story bosses. This is unmissable. Even if you fail to pick them up they will be added to the "Lost Items" section in the shop.

By just beating the story you can get the axe to level 5. So after the story you're probably wondering how to get that last level-up.

It's actually hidden in the Shop under "Buy" - "Resources". There you can exchange the Chilling Mist of Niflheim for the last Frozen Flame.

Where to find Mist of Niflheim:

It's in the central chamber in Niflheim, in the chest that costs 5,000 Mist Echoes to be opened. You must do SIndri's first favor in Nifleheim to get access to the central chamber. Then you must keep going around the "labyrinth" in this region to farm Mist Echoes until you have 5,000.

After you got enough Mist to open the chest, thie Chilling Mist will be yours. Now head back to a shop and exchange it for the Frozen Flame, then perform the final upgrade.
