We landed at ZRH around 10:30am. We picked up our bike boxes, used the airport luggage carts, and walked across the street to our hotel (Hyatt Place). We assembled our bikes on the patio which took about 30 mins. Checked in, we took a 2.5hr power nap, and started a bike ride around 4pm. There are amazing bike paths from the airport to Lake Zurich including some beautiful underground tunnels around the HBF. We followed the water, found a cute place for dinner (wirtschaft-ziegelhuette), passed by some live music concerts, a rave, and hundreds (thousands?) of people just out enjoying the outdoors. Finished biking around 9pm, and took the train back our airport hotel. Amazing first day!!!
