CrossFit is a branded fitness regimen created by Greg Glassman and is a registered trademark of CrossFit, Inc. Which was founded by Greg Glassman and Lauren Jenai in 2000. Promoted as both a physical exercise philosophy and also as a competitive fitness sport, CrossFit workouts incorporate elements from high-intensity interval training, Olympic weightlifting, plyometrics, powerlifting, gymnastics, girevoy sport, calisthenics, strongman, and other exercises. It is practiced by members of over 13,000 affiliated gyms, roughly half of which are located in the United States, and by individuals who complete daily workouts (otherwise known as "WODs" or "workouts of the day"). CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program consisting mainly of a mix of aerobic exercise, calisthenics (body weight exercises), and Olympic weightlifting. CrossFit, Inc. describes its strength and conditioning program as "constantly varied functional movements executed at high intensity across broad time and modal domains," with the stated goal of improving fitness, which it defines as "work capacity across broad time and modal domains." Hour-long classes at affiliated gyms, or "boxes", typically include a warm-up, a skill development segment, the high-intensity "workout of the day" (or WOD), and a period of individual or group stretching. Some gyms also often have a strength focused movement prior to the WOD. Performance on each WOD is often scored and/or ranked to encourage competition and to track individual progress. Some affiliates offer additional classes, such as Olympic weightlifting, which are not centered around a WOD.

In this video you can see a mix of workout compilation done by one of the most famous faces in the crossfit community such as Rich Froning, Dan Bailey, Josh Bridges, Jason Khalipa etc.

Recognizable by the tattoo of Galatians 6:14 scrawled from his left armpit to his hip, Rich Froning Jr. was dubbed the Fittest Man in History after winning four back-to-back individual CrossFit Games championships (2011-2014). Seemingly unbeatable, he also won the worldwide Open for three consecutive years (2012-2014), and when he retired from individual competition after the 2014 season, he captained his affiliate’s team, CrossFit Mayhem Freedom, to two back-to-back Affiliate Cup championships in 2015 and 2016.

Being a competitor is a lifestyle in which Jason Khalipa knows well. He has been a champion in the fitness world and works hard every day to be a champion in all other aspects of life. For Jason, the keys to winning the CrossFit Games, fatherhood, and fitness entrepreneurship, is balance and re-evaluation.

Known for his Hulk-like victory scream, Josh Bridges is a four-time CrossFit Games veteran and a CrossFit athlete since 2005. A former collegiate wrestler and U.S. Navy Seal, Bridges has won three of the five regional competitions he’s competed in and finished on or near the podium in three out of his four Games appearances, with a career best finish of second in 2011. Though Bridges devastated fans when he failed to qualify for the 2015 Reebok CrossFit Games, he made his comeback in 2016 after retiring from the military, taking a 13th-place finish as the oldest—and at five-foot-five, shortest—individual male at the Games that year. He was 33.

A former Division-I sprinter at Ohio University, Dan Bailey is a five-year individual CrossFit Games veteran, finishing within striking distance of the podium in each of his Games appearances (his best finish was fourth in 2015). Winner of the 2011 Reebok CrossFit Games worldwide Open and perennial fan favorite, Bailey earned the distinguished Spirit of the Games Award in 2015.
