Sky News host Danica De Giorgio has lauded the Italian government’s “no-nonsense approach” in dealing with antisemitism and extremism.

On the 12-month anniversary of the October 7 massacre, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni signed a decree to deport Pakistani Imam Zulfiqar Khan from Italy for promoting Islamic terrorism.

“Italy had enough, and has quite rightly, booted him out,” Ms De Giorgio said.

“The government said while freedom of expression is protected, hate speech and support for terrorism is not allowed.

“This puts our government to shame.”
