Ngā Manu Kōrero speech competition came to an end yesterday with one familiar family name taking out both Māori sections of the competition. Te Rangimonoa Tahi-Rangihau won Pei Te Hurinui for Western Heights and his young uncle Michael Rangihau won the Rāwhiti Ihaka trophy for Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Ruamata. Both are direct descendants of the late John Te Rangianiwaniwa Rangihau.
