CAPA Management Uses templates to institutionalize a structured, repeatable best practice CAPA business process. As events come into the system, whether a complaint, a nonconformance, an audit, or any other event, information is gathered and a risk table that includes information such as severity, frequency, or other pre-defined risk elements.

These are used to calculate the risk priority number (severity multiple by occurrence). A decision can be made to take immediate action, hold or cancel the CAPA.
