The head of the family, Behnaz, is a patient and hardworking woman who, despite all the challenges, carries the responsibility of providing for the household and caring for Anisa on her shoulders.
Today, Behnaz wakes up early in the morning to dig a little more of the small garden beside their hut, preparing the soil to plant vegetables. Perhaps by selling these simple crops, she can cover part of the living expenses and Anisa’s medical costs. Her hands are cracked from the cold, yet hope is still alive in her heart.
After working in the garden, Behnaz heads to the village shrine for her daily job. With care and respect, she begins cleaning the shrine.
