Agastya is a revered Vedic sage, a noted recluse and an influential scholar in diverse languages of the Indian subcontinent. He is said to have crossed the Vindhya mountain range and brought to life the river Kaveri to southern Bharat.

He is also the author of Agastya Samhita and Naadi Shaastra, the science of astrology.

Rupa Bhaty, an architect and asst. professor, loves to decode puzzles from Indic Sanskrit texts especially pertaining to Astronomy, and that of the life of Rishi Agastya. Presently engaged in authoring two books, The Agastya Code and A Tale of Three Cities - Lanka, Avanti and Kurukshetra
