CCA’s one-year Master of Advanced Architecture program (MAAD) is a STEM-designated, post-professional degree for advanced students and mid-career architects. The intensive curriculum emphasizes research and design through mentorship and electives, followed by an individualized project-based platform. There are three distinct areas of concentration: Digital Craft, experimental making through emerging technologies; History/Theory/Experiments, a platform to engage with new modes of discourse; and Urban Works, a response to the contemporary city’s politics.

As a CCA MAAD student, you’ll have the time and space to work with high-profile researchers, designers, technologists, and architects as you experiment with cutting-edge materials and advance critical, spatial, and cultural practices.
