Marchex (MCHX) is a company the ordinary investor has most likely never heard of, but should probably take a look at due to its sheer potential for imminent growth.

Marchex was established in 2003, and went public just 14 months later, raising 26 million dollars on the NASDAQ exchange. The company is involved in the mobile advertising and analytics sector, an industry with fierce competition from some of the largest companies in the world— Google, Yahoo!, and Microsoft to name a few.

However, Marchex’s financials illustrate a company ready to jump to the next level, and compete with those mega-companies for marketshare.

The company is currently sitting on around 80 million dollars of cash that can be used for acquisitions or grassroots expansion. This dramatic increase gives the company the ability to act on some more significant growth opportunities.

In addition, the company shows little debt compared to its assets which is a testament to its healthy management approach to growing the company.

In terms of its current valuation, the company is only trading at about 50 million dollars over its book value which amounts to around $0.70 over par.
