‘Mako’ Multi-Mission Hypersonic Missile Unveiled | US Aims To Arm Jets, Subs With “Missile Of 13s”

Lockheed Martin and CoAspire unveiled their Mako Multi-Mission Hypersonic Missile during the Sea Air Space 2024. The emerging hypersonic munitions promise to revolutionise modern warfare and shape the outcome of future conflict. The munition, named after the Mako shark, will be used by the US Navy and can be matched with aircraft, including the F-35 Lightning II stealth fighter jet. According to Naval News, the munition will have multiple guidance methods, and it will also be able to hold several targets at risk.
