Through millennia, Great Falls served as the geographic, transportation,
industrial, agricultural, military, recreational, and even extraterrestrial center of the region. The Great Falls of the Missouri provided a landmark for travelers, connected trade routes, and offered seemingly limitless power to foster development. At Montana’s crossroads, people influenced history statewide, nationally, and internationally—from rebellion and intrigue to the “Ace in the Hole.” This talk highlights how Great Falls really is central to history.
