I recently wrote an article and published a video tutorial about my discovery of Playwright. I was excited that Playwright was addressing some shortcomings of Selenium. That was good. But Playwright is more than that. So, in this video tutorial I am exploring some other features. Playwright works with Python. Python works with Pytest and Robot Framework. And they all work with the Browser library. I want to use this evaluation to confirm that Playwright plays together with Python and Robot Framework.
Why? Because each tool can operate alone to provide good application test scripts. Can they work together to increase the power of a test framework. I want a test toolset that can evolve into a robust test automation framework. It will take at least two more tutorials to discuss and demonstrate my proposition.
