The Minerva Mine in Nevada was first mined for silver in the late 1800s. Once that played out, the mine was abandoned and did not reopen until 1915 when tungsten was found inside it. The mine was worked off and on for tungsten up to the mid-1950s. In this video, I explore the lowest tunnel on the mountain. The upper tunnels and the mining camp will be explored during a return visit.
