Ven. Geshe Lhakdor delivered a virtual lecture on the Nalanda Tradition and its significance in contemporary times for the Dalai Lama Chair for Indic Studies at MIT-World Peace University, Pune.

The Dalai Lama Chairs are academic positions established at Indian universities in partnership with the Foundation for Universal Responsibility of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, to promote the study of Tibetan Buddhism, Himalayan culture, and the legacy of the Dalai Lama.

Ven. Geshe Lhakdor is a distinguished Tibetan Buddhist Scholar, the Director of the Library of Tibetan Works & Archives (LTWA) in Dharamshala and the former English Translator of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
