As part of this exciting announcement, our team flew out to Portland, Maine where DivCom is headquartered in order to launch a company wide onboard training. We decided to find out more about what led DivCom to select Sessionboard as their speaker management solution.

Describe your previous speaker management process:
"So our previous process for managing speakers was painful. It was incredibly inefficient, incredibly manual. It was a combination of spreadsheets and tears."

What we're you looking for in a speaker and content management solution?
"We were looking for a solution that would help us with our call for speakers process. We really wanted something that would have a portal that speakers could log into to complete any action items or that they could go to to get additional information. We were looking for something that had great planning tools, calendar building, as well as the ability to email with our speakers and send out automated reminders just to keep them on task and up to date."

Why did you choose Sessionboard?
"So we conducted a pretty extensive RFP process, and the reason that Sessionboard stood out was the combination of the great functionality, the intuitive, easy to use nature of the platform, as well as the awesome customer service. It was apparent that Sessionboard was really going to be our partner and not just a vendor."

What excites you most about using the platform?
"We're really excited about the ability to use Sessionboard as our CRM for all speaker and conference content. We think it's going to give us a ton of efficiency. We're not going to have to go look at various spreadsheets and find information from different places. It'll be a single source of truth for all of our speaker information and it will help us build session programming because we have all that info all in one spot."‍‍
