लोकसभा में राहुल गांधी ने केंद्र सरकार की अग्निवीर योजना का भी हवाला दिया. उन्होंने कहा कि मैं अग्निवीर के परिवार से मिला हूं. केंद्र सरकार अग्निवीर को शहीद का दर्जा नहीं देती है. अग्निवीर यूज एंड थ्रो मजदूर हैं. इस योजना को लेकर जवानों के मन में भय है. मोदी जी इन जवानों को शहीद नहीं मानती है. राहुल ने कहा कि अग्निवीर जवानों को सिर्फ छह महीने की ट्रेनिंग देती है. इस योजना से जवानों में भय है. अग्निवीर की सच्चाई सेना जानती है. हमारी सरकार आएगी तो हम अग्निवीर को हटा देंगे. इस बीच अग्निवीर योजना को लेकर सदन में हंगामा हुआ. रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने बीच में उठते हुए कहा कि अग्ननिवीर योजना को लेकर सदन में गलतबयानी की जा रही है. शहीद अग्निवीर को लेकर एक करोड़ रुपये का मुआवजा मिलता है. सदन को गुमराह किया जा रहा है.
