Let's go with the basic materials.

We start with the plates.
Within the plates there are with different components where they give different shades of color to the visible part to recognize it. There are different sizes and thicknesses depending on the work you want to do.

In many places we call it plasterboard, but plasterboard is a brand, its name is laminated plaster or also plasterboard.
These plates are composed of a plaster core with additives and covered on both sides with a sheet of cellulose. Its manufacture is carried out through a continuous lamination process and according to the standard.
They have a visible face depending on the type of plate you need, it can be cream, green, pink, blue, yellow that allows any final finish. The hidden face usually has a brownish hue. To facilitate the treatment of joints, the longitudinal edges are tapered. The transverse edges are cut. But there is also a type of plate on the market that has all the sharpened edges.

Then we have the profile.

Which are galvanized steel profiles of the type dX51D and galvanized Z140 or Z275 that make up the framework of the load-bearing structure of the partition, lining and ceiling systems. Z140 galvanizing is for a non-aggressive indoor environment with light to medium permanent humidity. For areas with an aggressive environment, it would be the profiles with a galvanized Z450.

In ceilings, the most commonly used profiles are CD 60 masters, f47 masters, omega 70 masters and omega 80 masters.
Then we have the SR saw profile that is to hook the CD60 and f47 masters.
For the perimeter, the U 30/30 profile is usually used, the Clip 18 profile is also called the U 18 profile and the angular profile.

In partition walls and cladding, studs and channels are usually used. (The teacher omegas are also used for trasdosados).
The uprights are C-shaped and in their soul they have notches or openings that facilitate the passage of installations (such as electricity, plumbing...) they are those that are installed in a vertical position and that fit inside the channel.
U-shaped channels are laid horizontally which is fixed to the floor at the top and bottom.
The most used are the 48mm and 70mm uprights and channels. The uprights, despite the fact that we use the name 48 or 70, always have a millimeter less than the channel so that they fit well inside it. For example, the 48 is 46.8mm wide and the 70 is 68.8mm.

But there are more measures for different jobs.
