It was inside of a run-down apartment in a run-down neighbourhood in the city of Utrecht, where the foundation for the April project was laid. Founders Jorn Mathijssen and Julia Hendriks are both fascinated by the eighties. Clean electric guitar riffs are intermingled with dark bass tones and swelling melodies. Two unusual voices melt to become one. Layers mix in a dreamy and vulnerable atmosphere, characterising the willful music.

Villeneuf is a band from Leiden, they make awesome indie pop and are inspired by the tunes of Bon Iver and Midlake. Currently they're in the finals of 'De Grote Prijs Van Nederland' and their second album Great Waste of Time is scheduled for release, November 22nd 2012.
Despite their influences the band has their own unique sound. In particular, their original song structures and close harmony make Villeneuf: Villeneuf. In short: original and catchy.

SirOJ is a young producer, songwriter, vocalist, DJ and remix virtuoso living in Amsterdam. He has already made name in the Dutch hiphop scene by producing several songs for Dutch rappers, like Dio and Jiggy Djé. Besides his debut album 'Goed Ontmoet' he produces music for films and series. We recently selected the Dutch MassiveTalent producer to create three cool tracks for the Samsung Timeline Track app, and this night he will be spinning some fresh tunes.

MassiveMusic DJs Auxiliary the Masterfader, CASPER and TITIA will be taking care of the musical puzzle pieces to make it one whole fantastic evening!
