The Micklehurst Loop Line Disused Railway Walk - Part One

In part one of our walk along the former Micklehurst Loop Line we begin at Stalybridge in Greater Manchester. Walking roughly half of the route we pass the sight of the former Staly & Millbrook Station as well as Spring Grove Viaduct.

No sooner are we walking again we see the mighty abandoned goods shed from the former Millbrook Sidings. Once a busy yard for coal traffic serving the nearby Hartshead Power Station.

Once alongside Millbrook Sidings we continue until we reach Micklehurst and the remaing Station Building. See you in Part Two....
